Dehlia McCarthy
A bit about myself...
My name is Dehlia and I am a Dublin based designer with a love of UX, service and interaction design. In particular, I have a passion for healthcare design, as it allows me to use my design skills to make a real difference in patient's lives. My favourite parts of the design process are the research and ideation stages. I love getting to the root of a problem by speaking with users, and finding new and exciting design solutions.
I have recently graduated with a first class honours Masters in Interaction Design. At NCAD I honed my design skills by working on a wide range of projects, with stakeholders such as Dublin City Council and the Mater Hospital. I am seeking to showcase my abilities and expand my skills in a professional setting. My goal is to find a job where I can work with stakeholders to create meaningful design solutions.
Outside of my design work, my biggest passion is digital illustration. This is where I can really let my creativity shine through. Future goals of mine include potentially illustrating a children's book, and finding opportunities to merge my passion for interaction design and illustration.
